Suspended solids in completion fluids plug perforations, damage the formation and cut well productivity. NEXA Energy and Support Services filters completion, workover, kill and drilling fluids to your defined clarity target, on spec every time, at onshore, offshore and deepwater locations across Nigeria.

Filter press and cartridge filtration unit treating completion brine at a Nigerian wellsite

Coarse-to-Fine Filtration Train

  1. Diatomaceous earth (DE) filter press units for bulk solids removal
  2. Cartridge filtration for fine polishing
  3. Bag filtration for final polishing and guard filtration

Each stage is sized for your fluid volume, density and solids loading, so the train delivers the specified clarity without slowing operations.

Filtered to Your NTU Specification

Turbidity targets are set by the client and verified on site. Our units have real-time turbidity monitoring, so fluid quality is measured continuously as the fluid is processed.

Brine Clarification and Reconditioning

Completion brines are a major cost item. NEXA clarifies and reconditions used or contaminated brines and restores them to gauge quality for reuse. This reduces the volume of new brine that has to be bought and the volume sent for disposal.

Integrated with Clean-Up, Completion and Stimulation

Filtration works best when it is planned alongside wellbore clean-up and the completion programme. NEXA supports filtration during clean-up, completion and stimulation operations, with full fluid handling support at the wellsite. As part of our spud-to-handover package, it follows directly from our drilling and completion fluids engineering.
